How I Plan on Getting Fit AF in 2018


It's a brand new year, and I'm continuing on my mission to get fit AF not only to look good, but most importantly, to feel good. If you know me, you know that I exercise mostly to keep my mood in check — regularl exercise gives me that extra boost I need and keeps me from falling back into depression. Muay Thai was a big part of my life last year, but this year, I'm kicking things up a notch with the help of Equinox. The gym hooked me up with one of its Tier-3+ trainers, Roy Chan, for a six-week training program to suit my needs. My goal? To up the intensity of my workout without any further injury, namely in my neck (something I suffered from back in 2016), SI joint (an on/off issue for many years now) and hip flexor (a newer problem, which I've noticed a lot during Muay Thai).
